I signed up for your service, I have been waiting for two weeks with no sim card, it's literally impossible to talk to any one of course you designed your system so that your user can never get help or talk to any one, so did I just get scammed ? I'm thinking of contacting office of president of Telus because it's impossible to get any help why does it take 2+ weeks to get a sim card ? Also I haven't gotten anything maybe it will take two months who knows this provider is absolutely hopeless its a black butonless pit with no way to get help from any one.

the previous post already said that

I wondered how long it might take someone to let the OP know about the Canada Post strike.
Good on ya, @fixin1 , for coming through on that!
All the back and forth about JT and crew kinda took away from information as to WHY the OP wasn't receiving the SIM card. Good feedback, @hTideGnow & @Handy1 , and I feel we're stuck with our current sock puppet for awhile yet given the support he's getting from the all talk, no action support from the fella waiting for his MP pension date.
@Djdjdj , your options are:

@Djdjdj - Also look at this post made by Public Mobile about SIM delivery during the strike:

I ordered my SIM from Amazon for $4.99, arrived next day, and I'm already activated and using the new phone/subscription. Worth a try. Won't get held up in the mail because Amazon uses companies like intelcom and UPS

@Djdjdj - Do you receive packages outside of Canada Post PO Box? If not, due to the strike, Public Mobile cannot ship the SIM card at the moment. All TELUS companies use Purlator to ship currently. But also due to Purlator and UPS halting shipments, it could arrive WAY later than anticipated.
Also Mobile Klinik stores are able to pick up a PM sim.

I don't have esim so I'm doomed, typically Canada is doomed in every way lol

@Djdjdj If your phones eSIM compatible they are free on the site to join and activate right away and save yourself a trip to the Telus store . But yes I agree Canada lags behind in the times when it comes to cell phone plans period . Europe has amazing plans for there citizens

Solution is give out free sims at Telus stores so users can activate their service right away,
4 weeks ago
I get that but you can't shun someone from getting actual help, in Europe this kind of service would be a joke not an actual thing or any other provider, I guess this is Canada and we get what we get which is awful cell phone companies all owned by few billionaires and all are a monopoly so guess this is the end result a user on a forum trying to get help from strangers cause their provider is out busy making billions

LOL no I don’t work for PM @Djdjdj and I’m pointing out why it’s good to have spare SIM card so if support will reimburse you for it , it cost you nothing and that’s a blessing in disguise but still smart to have spare for the reason I mentioned if you ever lose yours or to give to friends or family . I keep spare sim on hand for refferals , but yes if you prefer live support and don’t like the online support Telus is the way to go I have 5 lines with Telus also .PM is budget friendly service and I have healthy amount of refferals and unlike telus it’s possible to have free phone plan with public mobile something Telus will never allow so yea public has its perks too .

You sure you don't work for them ? Lol trying to upsell me, I don't need a second sim card and sim cards don't break for like 10 years lol it's metal not made of cupcakes. Any ways koodo is almost impossible to talk to a human and public is infinitely impossible so if you need a human pay more and go Telus lol here is like living in some remote rural village with no one living with in the next 100km

@Djdjdj It’s good to have spare SIM card anyways in case you ever lose or damage yours , or to give to family or friend to join public mobile and use your refferal code and reward both accounts win/win

hi @Djdjdj
PM agent is Public Mobile agent, not AM/PM 🙂
yes, while you already paid, the actual cycle start date won't start until you got your sim card, use the app to enter the sim card number and complete the activation. So, you didn't lose any days
4 weeks ago
Is there an AM team ? Also do they start billing you before you get a sim card or from day you activate your service ?
hi @Djdjdj
first, I am just a customer like you
but I know if PM agent agrees to let you pick up one from store, they will reimburse you
4 weeks ago
In the stores it's $10 and you already charged me $5 so what happens to one I paid for will you credit me ?

hi @Djdjdj
Sim card delivery can be 3 days to 3 weeks here
But best to ask PM support agent for status update, you can submit by direct message:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
Better to ask if you can pickup another one from a nearby Telus or Koodo store instead of wait longer to have them resend a new one
