Wrong email address

email is not case sensitive.  Did you mean the system sees it as error?

Updated to correct but still shows a capital in my first  name despite confirming the change

I don’t think emails are caps sensitive thankfully!

Ummm so? It doesn't matter. LOL.  You can change it to a small letter if you want. Just go into your profile and change it.
