I’m trying to transfer over my phone number from my old service provider and it’s been two days without being able to use my phone. When I go to select my number in iMessages, it says it’s still being verified. Very annoying.

If you click on your settings, then "Cellular", see if you have 2 SIM's listed, primary and secondary.
Make sure the Public Mobile is the Primary SIM and make the secondary SIM the one from your previous provider and turn it off. The issue could be your phone has 2 active SIM's. Then you should see the cellular network bars show up once you make the Public Mobile the primary SIM and turn off the secondary. Let us know if that resolved it. If not send a private message through that link above, I've read others that got a new eSIM provided by an agent and that worked to fix (if there was a charge, they will credit it.)

Did you reply to the text from your old carrier with YES that you are porting over to PM with the old SIM in your phone? There is a 90 minute for you to reply or porting will be in limbo.
If your old SIM is still working then porting was not completed then you need to restart the porting process on the PM app on your phone.

if just not receiving calls , it is a stuck port, ask PM porting team
