I just paid for my plan on Dec 4 ($34 20 GB Data at 5G Speed with unlimited Canada-wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging). 

However, I am interested in the limited time offer: $29 20GB at 4G speed plan.  If I change my plan now (after paying for my $34 plan on Dec 4), will this payment and plan be in effect now or in Jan 4? 

Essentially, if I change my plan now, will I be paying for 2 plans?

@Jadyn30 you can only change plans to those available on your My Account.  And those available there could be different from what you see on PM's main page 

If you want to be sure you didn't miss any plans, check My Account using browser with Incognito mode and also check with Public Mobile app

I just saw the plan for $29 20GB at 4G.  However, I checked back 5 mins later and it changed to $30 for 20GB at 4G.  What happened?

Great thank you so much for letting me know. 

@Jadyn30 not sure, PM cam withdraw the plan offer anytime.  However, you can use Change in Renewal to schedule the plan change and with that, the plan is locked in and you will still get it even PM ends the offer

Thank you for letting me know.  Do you how long the limited time offer will last?

@Jadyn30 Change plan now will change the current plan to the new one and PM will also charge your the new plan amount today.  However, there will be no refund for the unused days of your current plan

With that, it makes more sense to schedule a plan change on next renewal using Change on Renewal option so you don't waste the money if the current plan
