For Community Rewards. 

 

I see:

An email advising me of Top xx%

I see a advisement in notifications of Top xx%

Reward paid out in transactions 

 

What I DON’T see is:

A badge in my badge collection 

In My Rewards no $ in the month and no $ in total $’s earned 

 

My Account is 6 months old. I find this to be a dismal reflection of what could be vs what I see. 

 

Does any one see “What I DON’T see is:”??

OK, I get that. But if you log in on 7th of the month you will see how much Community award you received, if any.

I would not rely on messaging to let me know that knowing that messaging could be significantly delayed, incorrect, etc.

Ok. Here is an update

Like I said the reply from CSA was poorly worded and full of non informative fluff. And BEFORE I contacted the CSA I had zero $’s in my rewards account for the community. But CSA did say they were holding $10 for my next payment. Makes no sense to me.  

 

So yesterday and today AFTER contacting CSA My rewards show.

$5...not $10. 

 

So so just now, April 8 2022” I receive another  email.  Says for “February” and I received the same format of email on April 1 saying for “January”.

So  is this the $10 the CSA is referring to? .....DON’T ANSWER....

Different Months mentioned 

Today is the eighth.......so the second email saying February makes sense BUT the one 8 days ago doesn’t.

Badges play a very important role in the community rewards without them members especially new ones have no idea if they earned a reward until it's added to their account. @JL9  is a perfect example of why the awarding of badges needs to return. Unless they award them how will @JL9  know what reward they have earned? Additionally how do they prove it to a CSA? I had a 3 day argument with a CSA over my very first community reward and only received the actual $$ credit after being given some of the best advice I have been given from another member "Get a second opinion."

I used to think the badges were insignificant and my notifications are also mostly turned off and I only see the relevant notifications when I sign into the community account.  

 

However, the CR badges are actually very useful in knowing how much you were supposed to be awarded and for what month, especially when the payment date gets ahead of CR being posted.  PM stopped the CR badge about the same time that my payment date got ahead of the award and it's become frustrating to sort it out with missing badges.   However, I don't think it's useful for PM to show every badge level in each customer's account, that's just needless clutter.  The more recent greyed out ones are even worse IMO.

 

I've received the Dec. CR badge recently, but that's the only one since last October's badge.

It has to be timing when PM updates and processes rewards and payments.

I do not think you will lose these rewards and they will be applied on next renewal.

@CountyDownIeUk   the email for your April 1 was about the Jan rewards.  They were fixing badge on the system and that sent the email for Jan rewards as well

 

The reward you saw last night was for March.

I just checked my personal records. 

Loyalty is correct at $12

Community actual is $17 from PM but my records show $27 and I had another $2 misc. adjustment. 

 

Don't get me wrong. I like the phone service, I like the CSA service, I use the hybrid auto pay system and every thing works for me on all 3 accounts. 

 

BUT the ability to do stuff right on the PM side is there but just does not happen. And is embarrassing.

Yes, you are correct. If renewal is on a Community rewards assign day you might not get it for that renewal and they most likely will stay on your account and be carried over to next renewal.

Those long enough with PM probably experienced something like that and I would like to hear about their experience.

I do not recall ever receiving email regarding community awards. Maybe some of my settings are off but I do receive post notifications from Community.

Badges are completely insignificant. That is for kids... Why do you pay attention on those things?

When logging to My Rewards, I can see Community reward (if any) so it works as expected. Maybe you logged in too early?

What I can see, everything works as expected. Community rewards are usually added/reported on 7th or 8th of the month.

Maybe you were too eager to see rewards ahead of time.

I did. As far as I know lol. Although when I was here years ago I don't know if I did bc when I came back last month I noticed that and verified it. But back then I still received community rewards and was obv under the old program.

Seems correct if you are counting 5 community rewards (1×$2+4×$5=$22) but I can always check the Univac 5000 if need be....

CountyDownIeUk:  When your renewal date is around the reward payout it can get confusing. You might even get doubled up. Was your renewal overnight last night ? Or is it happening now?

Sorry, I meant the rewards you receive tonight will not show up in your transaction history or Available Funds until your next renewal date.

Those dollars have to show to give the proper balance on your My Account. That is fundamental record keeping.

@CountyDownIeUk   What you see is for March reward, they just post it in the last hour or two.

 

the email you got on April 1 was lilkely about Jan rewards.  It was April 1 they were fixing the Dec and Jan badges (giving out the long overdue badges)  and likely that  triggered the email about rewards on those month.  (but I don't think I got the email myself).

@JL9   maybe the points won't show up that early?  keep checking in the next 3 days and let us know once you see your Community reward points there.

 

Ok just a bit more. On April 1 I received an email that I was in top 10% = $5. 

The email dated April 1 said reward was for January....kind of haywire for sure. 

Today April 6 was my payment date. No $5 credit. 

I then questioned it with a CSA and is a mish mash of nothing but ended in saying $10 was being held for my next payment. I don’t think the CSA did a good job as I can’t figure his $10 figure.  I find it odd that I was advised April 1 but no credit April 6. 

 

Before I contacted the CSA I checked my rewards on the afternoon of April 6  and the this month and total to date earned both showed ZERO dollars.  

 

Just checked again and here is what I see....did my inquiry reboot and fix my account? This is bazaar and sooooooo Mickey Mouse.

Now I will check my personal records to see if they match the $22 and $12 figures. 

I don't see anything in there at all, maybe I wasn't lucky enough to get any. Although I would find it hard to believe I didn't at least get into top 50%?? but who knows maybe it is different for people in the new sh#(#ier version of rewards lol

If you are on the old rewards system then the only place you will see your community reward is in the Rewards system. It will not appear under your transaction history or Available Funds in self service until your renewal date.

 

Edit: Did you participate in the community last month? If you look at bravos for last 30 days where did you place?

 

Edit: I see you as of now #17. You definitely should have received something.

@JL9  It is there.. as $ or as Point , depends if you are on the old or new system.

They just give out Community Reward tonight at My Rewards, check it...

I have checked My Rewards and there are no funds showing as rewarded this month or in my totals. But I have received community rewards and they show in my transactions.

They just give out Community Reward tonight at My Rewards, check it...
