Cant receive calls or send/receive SMS

Hi,

I am able to make calls but cannot recieve them. I can't send or recieve SMS but my mobile data is working just fine. I can't find the APN settings on my iphone 6 by following the steps on this website because I don't have anything in settings that says cellular data. The only thing I can change is the personal hot spot APN. 

My phone is unlocked but I was using it in Australia and Vietnam last with pay as you go plans. The number I requested from Public is my old Telus number. Not sure if any of this makes a difference.

If I were to get a new number from PM would this solve the problem?

It's just soooooo many peoples porting from freedom to public mobile create a system bug and process getting longer and longer and creating backlog.

Your port-in has failed. The only cure is sending a private message to the moderators as suggested. Check your Telus SIM in case it is still working.

Given their backlog it may be a day, or two, before you have a response. Perhaps, turn on email notification of private messages to see their response as soon as it arrives. Why is there so many porting issues going on right now?

Check my other reply send a msg to mod. But also
Try rebooting device first and and try sim in other phone just to make sure. If same issue in other phone then send a msg to mod

No I ported it almost a week ago. I thought it would need a couple days but its been too long. I have messaged a mod. 

 

I have rebooted my phone many times. I don't have another unlocked phone to try it in.

It's sound like you still under porting process did you recently port your number. If yes try rebooting your phone. If it's been over couples hours since you ported.
Porting usually takes 1 hours to 24 hours but if you think if its been a while then send a msg to mod they will look after you
Contact any moderator by private message to help you with the process.
In your private message the following info
* PM account email address
* PM phone number
* Detailed explanation

What you do click on link the webpage will open. You will see a mod team click on any name then scroll down all the way and click on send a private msg then explain your problem
