my phone service has cut out and is in emergency calls only over over a month for most of the day I have no service and when I do it is emergency calls only and cant receive ingoing calls or text at all on rare chance I can make a call but cuts out very quickly and takes serval attempts just to call a taxi

If your phone is identical to your friend’s phone. It could be an issue with your phone but CS_Agent can investigate the problem.

You can contact an CS_Agent by clicking on the Chat icon then type in “Submit a Ticket” then Contact for an agent to help you.

Sim card works in friends phone 

it is compattible as it stop working over a month ago but worked before 

and data is not working aswell and my account is active

I had the same problem with my old Samsung S8+ because the 850 MHz 3G frequency so you need VoLTE.
Enter the IMEI of phone to see if it is compatible.

could you try removing the Public Mobile sim from your cellphone and try it in a different cell. If so, you'll be able to figure out if it's a hardware issue or if the sim is corrupt. Sims don't usually go bad so likely your cell is not working properly and could be at end of life.
