@Nga2 did you ever have service, and service just stopped? How do you know the phone is not compatible? If you try the SIM card into another phone does it work?

Public Mobile operates on HSPA, 5G, 4G LTE, and LTE Advanced networks.

  • 5G, 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Is your phone blacklisted, locked to previous provider, other...?  More info would be helpful please for us to help.

@Nga2- What is the make and model of the phone?

@Nga2 @Phone not compatible with eSIM or PM if eSIM you can just get a Physical SIM card and ask support to SIM card swap the number for you . They may even credit  you the cost . Please reach out to support and see what they say

You can simply go to a Freedom store or contact them by phone and supply the IMEI number by dialing *#06#.

Freedom shouldn’t charge you to have it unlocked.

Once unlocked, you can use any carrier SIM including PM.

Is the phone locked to Freedom?  Every phone can be unlocked. 
Public Mobile is a prepaid service. Typically there are no refunds. 

@Handy1  why should they contact CSA?  It is not public's fault if the phone is not compatible; so refunds would likely not be offered - don't you think in this case? And that may not even be the case here.

I'm always curious to know...what is the make and model?
What about real sms texts in and out? Calls in?

@Theresacm - how old is the phone? Or what model as already asked.

Have you tried to Restart the phone. Turn it completely off, then restart it.

Try the SIM card in another phone to see if services work, maybe your phone is locked to Freedom. It that is the case call them to unlock it for you.

Turns out phone only works on freedom. Activated the simple, but won't make call or get data.
