Can paused Subscription still be able to port out number?

I am planning to move my number out of PM but I don't want the renew charge to occur before I can port the number.

If I toggle off subscription (pause the renew subscription) can I still be able to move/port my number?

If you're account is already closed and you want that number, cheapest plan is $15. I know it sucks but... $15 is a cheap price to pay rather than calling EVERYONE you know about changing your phone number. Then again, it might be a great way to hide from exes 😀

@Mito  No both accounts need to be active to port number

If you're moving to Telus or Koodo then you can transfer the number while suspended. If not then the account needs to be active.

Hi @Mito 

Account has to be active to port the number out.  You can turn off the "Subscribed" when the account still active and port the account out

but if the account is already suspended, then it cannot be port until you pay and resume the service

So, in short, if you can use the phone now, you have service with voice and text, you can port
