I am new to Public Mobile. I ported my number over. However I am not getting calls? My texts are coming through though.

@MBlue that text that coming via, likely not real sms but iMessage or RCS
did you reply YES to a text from your old provider? If you did, reboot your phone every 30 mins until you start receiving calls
If you missed the text, then les us know, that is a critical part and cannot be missed

@MBlue - have you restarted your phone since activating with Public? Or, did you miss the SMS port approval text, there is a 90 minute window to respond to it.
When the incoming calls stop on the previous provider’s SIM card and/or landline/voip account, that is a good indication the port is complete.
If still issues, submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives (CSA) for help; click this link for issues with transfer/porting of phone numbers over to Public Mobile.
Or, you can try calling the Telus porting phone number, which we are not supposed to post here. So, check your private messages I will send it to you there.

@MBlue Did you miss the confirmation text to port in the 90min window you had to reply yes ? If so there a number for live support to help the start the port process I’ll send you it private message

@MBlue The number transfer could take upto 2 hours to complete so perhaps keep trying to reboot/toggle airplane mode on/off over the next hour or so for the port to finish.
