@Gwen1 how long ago did you change plans?

Can you receive calls successfully, or the issue is only without going calls?

What about in/out texting, and data?

Changing your plan should not affect your services any differently in this way. Does your account status say Active?

Try manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) see if services improve.

Also, try toggling into/out of airplane mode to help with network connection issues.

If issues persist and other suggestions given (or anymore to come) are not helping, submit a ticket to CSA to inquire about this difference in service after the plan change.

To contact the Public Mobile Customer Support Agent (CSA)_Team, there are two methods to reach them found here:

Hi @Gwen1

You meant when you try to make calls?

Once you are talking on the calls,  does it work well?

Are you on the latest iOS?

Check if your Carrier profile is up to date.

You can try to Reset Network Settings and see if it help

if you have not try reseat sim card yet , try it

And is your husband on iPhone too?  what if you put your SIM on his phone, does it work well?

@Gwen1 it is probably a provisioning problem with your account switch sims with your husband reboot phones  make a call or two then switch sims back again

I have an iPhone XR, It worked great on the plan I had but once I upped my plan It takes 1-2 minutes for the number to ring then drops.  Signal goes down to 1 bar.  My husband has the same provider and no problem.

HI @Gwen1   you meant after you changed plan and you had the issue?

What kind of phone do you have?

I would try to reseat the SIM card first

Also, if possible try the SIM card in another phone and test it for couple days

And if you use the phone in different area, would the voice call be better?
