So I just purchased my plan then went to the app to complete setting it up. Found out that my current phone number cannot be transferred. It is a Canadian phone number, granted it is from a small town in the territories. At this point in my life I cannot change my number. I do not still live in the territories but I need to keep my number.
if this is impossible then can someone pls let me know how to at least get my money back? There was no way for me to have known that I wasn’t able to transfer my number before I purchased the plan.
Xoxo,
-Eric

@Eric0 while most numbers can be ported around, there are numbers that can be ported only to some providers but not all. This is a technical limitation and has to do with providers do not have operations (known as rate centre) in some communities. It is not just a problem with Public Mobile but could also be a problem with other providers.
Check with the link above and see what the result is. It it shows not transferable, please provide us the area code and the next 3 digits and we can confirm what providers your number can port to
