Getting back an old number

I initially transferred my number from Fido no problem when I activated my subscription. I then tried to transfer a second number from Fido to Public Mobile but I later learned that you can only have 1 number per account. So when I got a text from Fido on my second number if I wanted to approve the number transfer and I replied no. Once PM got the reply, I was given a new number. 

I called Fido to see what's the status of that number and they said its with PM now. I really want to get that number back. Is there a way to get it back? Is the new number permanent or temporary?

You would need to message Public Mobile directly and speak to any agent to sort it out.

Yes @galvezkendrew you need a second account opened with another email address.  But, the port now screwed up your first account? PM can probably give you back your original number on the old account.  Open ticket with them.  Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
