hi @T_Edge10 all carriers are like this, leave the best deals for new activation only. In fact, your Freedom deal is like this, too. If you are so upset with this practice? after you joined Freedom, don't check Freedom deals any more or you will be upset like now very soon

The idea that it is not available to existing customer is a load of crock. Public has the option of who they advertise a plan to. Public chose to forcing higher rates on existing customers, "the lazy tax" while trying to increase the subscription number.
Freedom mobile currently has a $29/month offer even with the "sign up fee" I'll be ahead in savings. In these expensive time we need to penny pinch where we can.

First, got rid of "The More the Merrier" data and minutes giveaways to existing customers, and then now limiting all attractive plans to new activations only. Wonder what they have in store for us next. Gotta love Public Mobile...

Although once you click on that plan it says “Available for New Activations Only”
But @Tony_Wang , wants the $29 30 GB at 4G Speed Plan which states that one is “Available for New Activations Only”

@Chalupa_Batman @Tony_Wang I contacted CS with the screen shot below. I asked if they would honor the $40/75GB for existing member (me) as the plans page clearly does not have the new activations only limitation. They honored it and I am now on that plan. Only caveat was I had to make change now (week early).

That won't do anything @boxnone18 just so you know. Because you're not locked into any plan, you can switch at any time. You'd just lose your number and rewards. Or you port out then port back in if you want to keep your number.

You could try contacting cs_agent in messages and asking nicely, but no guarantee they will switch your plan!

I know it is disappointing. There’s a lot of posts on here from current Customer asking for the promotional plans that are for new activations only & some of us have been here for a few years so it is disappointing to many of us that we can’t switch to them as a current Customer! 😔
They do post great plans now & then that are available for current Customers so keep an eye on the plans section & on your account for available plans to switch to. 🙂

This offer is only for New Activations Only as you can see by this screen shot. This offer is sadly not available to current customers. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. However, there is nothing stopping you from getting this plan. It would just mean you’d either have to port out your number to another provider, lose your number and start fresh, lose your Legacy Rewards if you have them. Some stuff to consider before starting fresh.

@Tony_Wang , unfortunately current customers can’t get the promotions that are labeled as “Available for new activations only.” We would need to sign up for a new account using a new SIM Card, new phone number & different email address!

Sorry this is for new activations only . Whatever is available for you is listed on your account when you sign in and click on manage subscription
