500 intl LD for local calls ?

I just ran out of my regular minutes.  But I got a holiday "gift" of 500 intl long-distance minutes... so can I use those for my regular local calls ??

Would it not make more sense to just make a comment. We all know there will be numerous and correct answers. Moving them to oblivion makes no sense. But there are ssome other ones that could be moved especially the over done ones that don't come near to responding to the OP.

Yes....you can use'em for local as well as some international calls.

edit; another option is to get the $5 / 500 minutes of Canada wide calling add-on. Add-on minutes will be used when your regular plan minutes are used up. Any add-on minutes that are remaining when your regular plan renews, will be saved until you need them next.


I would suggest to follow @hairbag1   suggestion. Your LD freebie has an approximate value of $15. Preserve it for LD calling  by purchasing the $5 500 add on. The unused portion rolls over month to month until used up.

Yes, you can plus you can call assorted countries.

If you ever plan to call somebody in those countries, maybe better idea will be to invest $5 into 500 Canada minutes and save bonus minutes for overseas.

Yes, you can make calls across Canada.
