Thanks @computergeek541 , noted. :).   Original OP asked for Australia, and 300 in the Plans Page does have that country listed.

@binh514123 was asking where lists are found, presumably other addons could have been inquired about here. Plus, if true that some countries not listed actually work, than no harm informing of these locations of addons.

Ok, ok, is the below better?

@binh514123  it is also listed here on the Plans page:

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/plans#plans-start

Scroll down to "Add-Ons   (including International calls)" and expand it.

The list that was provided earlier and provided on above from the plans page isn't actually the list that should ahve been provided for the OP of this thread.  The 500 free long distance minutes that was offered free to all customers was advertised as providing minutes to a different set of countries which also included Canada and the United States.  Ironically, the advertised listed for the free add-on wasn't accurate either, with the add-on working to call several countries not mentieond.

@binh514123   The list for countries that can be called is on the Plans page.  You can also view the options from this link:  https://www.publicmobile.ca/get-help/articles/overview-of-add-ons

Hi! where is the list come from!

@AnonymousOP doesn't need to buy the 300 minutes addon because they already have it from a holiday promo on their account.

@binh514123I have the same 500 minutes add-on, and I was just able to call the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs phone number -- you can try it as well to test if you like:

+61 2 6196 0196

You dial the + by holding the 0 key, or replace it with 011

If the call works, you're good to go to call any other Australia number, if not the call will just fail and you will not be charged.

This information isn't correct. The other members are correct that the 500 minute international long distance bonus add-on includes calling to Australia (as well as all other calling destinations included in the 300 and 400 minute international long distance add-ons).

How To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
    • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!
  5. after you Add-on you have to do Rebooting your phone

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Hi @binh514123

Here's the WONDERFUL thing about Public Mobile.

If something isn't included, it just won't work.  By trying, you won't be charged anything extra as this is a pre-paid service.

So... if you're ever wondering if something's 'included', just try it.

If it works, it's included.   If it doesn't, it isn't.

Welcome to the wonderful world of pre-paid service!!!
