I used my rewards points to add on long distance international mintues I received confirmation but still I am unable to get them activated?

If you log into your account, on the overview page you'll see half way down, subscription usages. Down at the bottom of the box you'll see usage breakdown. You'll see it there. If you don't, it might be a cache issue and you may need to clear your browser cache and relog in.
