Hello Community,
Due to Canada Post labour disruptions beginning September 25th, we are currently unable to deliver orders to PO Boxes and Rural Route addresses.
All orders placed prior to September 25th that were not PO Boxes and Rural Route addresses were shipped with courier and should still be expected to arrive. If you have placed an order and it has not arrived after 15 days, please contact a Customer Support Agent. If you placed an order with a PO box or Rural Route address, ensure you have your order number and an alternate shipping address ready.
If you need a SIM card more quickly you can purchase one on Amazon or find one at your nearest store.
For more detailed information on how this may impact your orders, alternative options, and steps to follow if you have an outstanding order, please see our dedicated Help Article.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through these impacts.

They are back to service now. But I still prefer picking up at store if possible.

Not yet. The above post still applies. Public mobile will update when things return back to normal.

You can get a SIM card at your local Telus Shop. If you tell them that you are affected by the delayed delivery due to the Canada Post strike, you might even get it for free. At least, that's what a neighbor told me recently. Doesn't hurt to try in a friendly manner.

SIM cards aren't free and the salesperson has no reason to give away the SIM becasue there's no chance of sales commission for Public Mobile. Those going to a store must pay the $10.

Yes, you could go in store to purchase a new physical SIM card. Keep the receipt and often customer service agent will credit your account $10. No guarantees though.

Sorry, but unless there is an issue with the SIM card not being received, all SIM card sales are final. If going to a store, the only option will to be to buy another SIM card.

To add... @Ck_PM - I appreciate you helping to up the "sales" with Public Mobile, 😉 , however THIS link is also Public Mobile but half price. Which is something that makes no sense. BOTH are the Public Mobile store, BOTH the same SIM card but one is $4.99 and one is $9.99. That should be fixed.
To help others here who do require a SIM card faster, here you go.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99
Or find a Mobile Klinik near you. https://mobileklinik.ca/stores/

Customers can pick up SIM cards at corporate Koodo and Telus stores. Mobile Klinik stores also sells PM SIM cards. Suggest calling ahead just to make sure that particular store has SIM cards in stock.

yeah just get one from amazon, if you are not a prime member, you can ask a friend who is to order for you, it will arrive the next day or two.
