Been 5 days since I activated my account, still cannot send or receive a text unless i am connected to wifi.

@CWbear, try to remove the phone number from iMessage's settings and reboot the phone. Add the number back to the settings and test again

are you able to make/receive calls or only having issues with text?
If only issues with text, check the settings in your phone to enable sms texting.
If issues with both, it is a subscription/service issue.

Most likely you are using apple and its proprietary apps.
Try to use NORMAL sms feature of your phone and not apple's.

that sounds about right, so you are using imessage/wifi currently. I am going to assume your texts wont work with anyone not using iOS/imessage. If you are unable to send or receive texts, and cant make or receive phone calls, it sounds like the account did not get fully activated yet and you will need to log in to your account settings to take a look.

I am on a IOS device, I expect given I can send and receive text messages on WiFi, that is the case. Dont have my phone to check that.

If only texts work while on wifi i assume you are on an iOS device and the wifi is using imessage which doesnt require data, can you confirm if this is the case?
If so, it sounds like the account did not get activated, can you see if your subscription is active currently?
