no mobile network - was working just stopped today

My phone has been working all along and sometime today i lost the network and I cant call or receive calls or text. It says no mobile network. Any thoughts as to what happened, or how to fix.

Glad to hear you resolved it if an issue like that happens again and that solution doesn't work you can always get another device and put the sim in there to see if it is a device issue or a sim/network/plan issue.

Sometimes SIMon the chatbot is a very useful tool - glad it all worked out!!!

I actually fixed my own problem. I went to Simon the bot which said toggle airplane mode on/then off, and restart the phone. It worked

Perhaps there's a TELUS outage in your area?

When this happens, other options to get going are:

 

  1. reboot device
  2. toggle airplane mode on/off
  3. reset network connections
  4. remove and reinsert SIM card

 

Also, check your account status in self-serve to ensure it reads, Active.

Did you check your PM account? Does it say Active?

Did you try to re-seat SIM? Reboot phone?

Can you try your SIM in another phone?
