Severe network issue data and mobile network

just an update at 7:48 PM Pacific time

from what I’ve heard it’s from Telus removing the Huawei hardware that’s causing issues right now the 5G 4G LTE issue still hasn’t been fixed 3G is working intermittently. I’m not receiving calls my friend tried calling me three times and I only got the call on the third try the first two tries to call didn’t even go through so even 3G isn’t really a solution right now so I don’t know wait and see what happens

 


is there a major network problem right now because since last night to this morning and on going , my data connection has been very unstable and my network  as well. I’m in Vancouver 

it’s been intermittently on and off. We have 4 other Public Mobile devices in the household, and it’s the same thing across the board iPhone 12pmax , iPhone 15pmax  , pixel 4a , s21+ 

I am wondering if other people are having the same issue

I'm in Burnaby and I started noticing very slow network speeds a few days ago, too. Speedtests are showing between 3-12 Mbps down/0.3-7 Mbps up on both 5G and LTE.

Turning airplane mode on and off will help only briefly when it's on the unusably slow side, but after maybe an hour or so it will slow down again. Resetting network settings did nothing.

It's very frustrating because I switched to PM just over a month ago without any issues until now—and I spent a lot of time driving/travelling in the US, Okanagan, and Vancouver Island last month.

My data was very slow 2 days ago, now today nobody can reach me. Fix the network Public! I'm in New Westminster

Same thing.

none of my incoming/outgoing calls are working.. yet shows the network is on even with 4 bars. Texting is working for now

I've already submitted a service ticket, and I'm awaiting a response.

the issue is becoming increasingly frustrating. It started last night with one device experiencing data problems. After several reboots, it seemed to resolve, leading us to suspect a device issue.

However, later that evening, another device began experiencing the same problem, and the issue has been alternating between multiple devices. This morning, we started having call reception issues, including inability to hear callers, dropped calls, and fluctuating mobile data connectivity (5G, 3G, no connection, then reconnecting). I was checking on the community forum and noticed a lot of people are having issues as well so I’m figuring asking if anybody else has heard from Public Mobile directly about it. Hopefully, I get a reply in the next little bit so I can update this post 

and @beta578  any chance you are near Calgary?  there is confirmed data issue

look like it is if you have so many devices with the problem.  Report it to PM.

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)  Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
