hi. i have bought a canadian plan for $15 and a add on of $15 for unlimited us roaming talk and text. why doesnt it work? is it beceause it is a 3g plan?

Are you in the US? Text should be fine. The roaming setting is usually only for data

@tuvia    Are you able to connect to T-Mobile and then select 2G network mode?  The talk part has become a problem since the US carriers shut down 3G network, however, text and data are supposed to be unaffected. 

Try rebooting the phone and make sure roaming is enabled.

Which city and state you are at?

check which network you are connected to.  Try to manually connect to T-Mobile and see if it works
