iMessages and FaceTime only working on email and not phone #

Hi there

I Got an esim card and installed. Ported my existing phone #. Had to go into settings to pick the eSIM card under settings > Cellular so the old one was no longer chosen.

But my FaceTime and iMessages won’t verify my phone # and now when I call people using FaceTime or iMessage people it is from my email only. This is not ideal.  It has been verifying my phone # since Saturday when I switched over.   I tried to delete the phone number on FaceTime and I messages. Turned off these features, then turned off my phone and restarted. It is still “verifying” my phone #. Did this multiple times now. Help?

I have the same issue too and just found out they posted an announcement yesterday about the issue here. It doesn't work for me yet but some people did! Hope it works on yours! 🙂

Everything else is working fine as far as I can tell.  I can call.  Receive calls and receive texts.

Can you call in/out? Send SMS in/out?
