how to manually port a number on an old Samsung S6

Want to get off Bell before Jan 10 and only have Samsung S6 that cannot run the app.  Have Iphone 13 coming but will not be available until Jan 12.  is there any way to manually transfer my bell number to PM before the Jan 10?

So, the best way to do this now as the deals end today is to 1. find a friend who has a smart phone and download the app on their phone. 2. using the app, sign up for whichever plan you want and pay for it. Then, tomorrow, reach out to your local Telus stores and ask if they have any Public Mobile SIM cards, if they do, pay the $10 to get it. Get your SIM card into your phone and sign up. while doing so you can port your number at the time of sign up. While signed up, you'll get a porting request to your Bell SIM card, keep it in YOUR phone so you can say yes. Text Yes back, wait for your Bell service to go bye bye and then take the SIM card out of your friends phone into your phone, reboot and you should be up and running!

@AlisonA  Can you use friends phone to download app and activate then delete from phone , you can then manage the account from website until you get the iPhone

Cant use the app because S6 is too old and app will not install.

@AlisonA  , best for you to creat accout choose plan pay up front and the download the app , to activate the sim , You can port over on activation just make sure bell SIM card is active when you do leaving it in phone to reply yes to confirmation text to port 

edit you need app to activate so can you use a Friends  phone to activate then delete from phone and then you can mage account on website and before you know it you will have your iPhone
