my daughter Susana has been toping her data account and spent over $200 in one month without knowing she would be charged that much, is there a way to reverse this charges and change the plan to allow being charge a more reasonable amount?

First of all educate your daughter on how to use her cell phone - by making her aware that wifi doesn't use data. ---in most situations unless perhaps she's in a remote camping area there should be wifi access.

PS Had the exact situation several years ago with my daughter while on a BeLL plan. After explaining the situation to Bell customer service they reversed all charges.

Wow that's an expensive lesson and a lot of forfeited allowance. It's difficult to believe she was unaware if the customer of data add ons. $5/200mb, $15/1gb and the newly introduced $30/3gb are all clearly priced online and when calling the 611/IVR system.

Unless your daughter has stockpiled data add ons that expire 30 days after purchase on her account there are no refunds or credits for data add ons that have already been consumed.  If it's the former you can contact customer support to discuss a credit for add ons that are unused or reasonably cannot be used before expiry as the recent change in policy by pm has caught some customers by surprise that pm data add ons no longer roll over every 30 days.

As far as changing plans log into the account and click on "Change subscription" and peruse the offerings and discuss with your daughter which plan is a reasonable compromise for her needs. A lesson in data usage management and a mobile service budget is in order. If she wants to learn from the community about these important "life lessons" she may even earn a community reward.

Depending on the data speed, data saver etc.....accessing the community uses about 50mb to 60mb of data per hour.

You can schedule a  "change plan on next renewal" or "immediately" if she runs out of data again. Last I looked the best plan offerings available were....

"4G" Speed: $39/20gb, $44/30gb (15+15gb bonus), $50/40gb US/Canada roaming plan.

"5G" Speed/Network plans are discounted with 90 day subscriptions with the $65/50gb/30 day plan discounted  $10/30days at $165/90 days and unlimited 512kbps data after the 150gb plan data allotment is used up.

Some suggestions:

1) tell your daughter to stop ordering data

2) change to a plan that matches the amount of data you daughter needs

3) change your daughter's password so she can't add data.

I think your daughter have been going around your back and purchasing extra Add-on data because PM is a prepaid service so if you run out…you don’t get data.

Only postpaid service will continue to charge you as long as you keep on using data.

I would suggest you change you password so she can’t access the account to purchase additional data and have the 2FA code sent to your phone.

Or increase your monthly plan.

?????

Every data add-on has it price. HOW can somebody keep adding data without realizing the total cost?

PM will not refund that charge. There is no 'special' plans with lower cost for add-ons. We all pay the same for data/minutes add-ons no matter plan cost.

PM is a prepaid provider and you need to Buy extra data before you can continue to use data if you run over.  So, your daughter should know that ahead of time

Get this $55 plan for 50GB on 5G speed.  If she runs over, she can still use unlimited data at reduced speed of 512Mbps.  It is way slower  than regular data speed , but at least they are free
