I visited the Promo page for the advertised deal, then logged in, met with the following:
Now, if I log in and via portal choose "change my subscription" the boxing day deals are not showing up there.

@MHender Once you did immediate plan cha he to the $30 plan you could have changed to the $35 plan using change on next renewal that way you would have only spent $30 to get access to that $35 plan and use the $30 plan for next 30 days until your best renewal . But if you did two immediate plan changes then yes you effectively cost you the $65 and your new $35 plan just started right away and will renewal on the $35 plan again in 30 days . But still cheaper then porting number out and back in for that specific plan .

Great thanks very much. I downgraded my plan to a $30 plan, which was billed, and then upgraded to the $35 MEX plan. This means I spent $65 one-time to get this plan.
Do you know if this is on my account or has it disappeared into thin air? I paid for a 1-month subscription which was effectively immediately overruled by another, different plan.

@MHender We can only change to the plans that are available to us to chage to in our accounts despite what we see on the website . No everyone sees the same plans . So plan you on and what plan you want . There’s really on one boxing week sale most people can do work around for if they don’t already see it and that’s the $35 75GB MEX roaming plan if you want that and don’t see it on your account but see $30 plan you can make immediate plan change to it , then the $35 75GB MEX plan will appear and you can make another plan chage for next renewal to it . But if you trying get the $29 MEX plan it won’t work and support most likely won’t help you change to it but you can try
