changing subscription that is the same price

hi, i took advantage of the black friday promo for 40GB for $34 however now for boxing day the promo has improved to 50GB for the same price. i am trying to take advantage of the promotion however when i try to change the option doesnt appear and i think its because it is the same price. i would like to take advantage of the additional 10GB for two accounts.

We're in the same boat and think we're going to switch to the plan that Freedom Mobile is offering. It's the same price ($34/month) same data (50 Gb at 5G speeds and then throttled but still unlimited data after that) AND includes talk/text/data across NORTH AMERICA (not just Canada).

I'm not blaming you. I'm just saying. I have lower price options, but it's not the plan I want. Which sucks.

I just might downgrade until PM gives me the option to switch to a better plan for the same price, like they did last month. 

@sal82  I don’t know the criteria only support does i just suspect the won’t downgrade you in price but same price or higher . Well why not if it was my business I wouldn’t let ya drop down on price but upgrade you Ina heart beat . And I’m just a customer like you trying to help

I know what plans they can offer me. They are all in the "change subscription" link.

@Handy1 so they can't downgrade my plan, but I can do it on my own in the "change subscription" link.🤷‍♂️

they wouldn't be able to give u the promotion discount but they have similar plan - but not as good.  Ask the agent what plan they could offer you.

@sal82  I just asked to go to that plan and said ok . But I wasn’t down grading . Better chance if it’s same price or higher price plan not cheaper plan is my guess

What did you tell them? I tried to downgrade my plan to the boxing week special, but they said they couldn't do it. I even told them I was willing to pay again if I have to(just paid last week), and they still said no.

Public Mobile does not accept e-mail from customers looking to reach customer service.  Everything needs to be done on this website.

Your second choice might be port your number out to a other provider get the cheapest plan then buy a new SIM card and port the number back but you may have to use a other email address if you do that

Most promos are for NEW customers only.

Read small print of promo offer. Most likely you are now existing customer and promo does not apply to you.

If you do not care for rewards or phone number, open new account, stop paying for existing and you will have new plan in place with new number.

You could try reaching out to a agent to see if they could do the change

@imzz   Yes because it for new activations only but Submit ticket with support . They can sometimes help , they helped  me with that plan @imzz
