I am wanting to change my phone plan as i dont need so much data anymore, but i cant get it to go to 4G and change my plan. Is it not an option because my plan is 5G? I just want to lower my bill and only get 4G. Help

if you see that plan available right now, you might wanna schedule a plan change for next renewal. When your current plan expires, the new plan will take over.

Impossible for me to use more than several GB of data per month so I plan to downgrade my $39 68GB 5G plan (after we return from Mexico) to the $30 LTE plan I see available for me

Usually you cannot downgrade plans only upgrade no matter if it is 3, 4 or 5G.
If plan does not appear on your account, you are stuck with what you currently have. Only option is to cancel current account and open a new one.

hi @Pooh71
most plans are now 5G plans, a cheaper plan could still be a 5G plan
but yes, you won't have too many choices to downgrade, but downgrade is still possible
So, login My Account and check Change Subscriptions and see what plans they offer you

What plan do you have now?
What is the cheapest plan which is available to you to switch at this time?
As a general observation, PM does not let its subscribers easily change to cheaper plans, particularly from the more expensive 5G to the less expensive 4G plans.
On rare occasions, PM may give individual subscribers a limited opportunity to do so. So you need to keep checking. Good luck.
