Got here from AU/NZ and it's disgusting what you guys have to deal with here.
Could not get a sim without a local credit card? Wait 1 week, open bank account, get a Debit card, and yup, no one wants that either. great!
Find PM is only company that takes, but I didn't know support is non-existent on the phone. Anyway, buy it, oh wait, I cant get e-sim or activate physical without an app. I cant download the app because my Phone thinks its in AU. I have to cancel all my subscriptions.
So, I ask a friend to do it for me, but PM decides to install e-sim on his phone. BIG facepalm.
Okay we delete E-SIM and after pulling my hair for 2 hours, I finally get the app somehow. Now, I login, it sends 2fa to email, so far so good, but wait!!, it wants to send 2fa to mobile too, which I do not have access to. Great!! who thought of that ?
So, I thought, let me call, oh wait, there is no one to call to. After waiting for 3ish hours messaging back and forth, I am told, we cant do it. I'm sorry what ? is this Canada or some 3rd world country ? You have to buy a physical sim card. Okay, but how do I activate it, if I cant get into the app ?
What are you guys doing up here? Its embarrassing to explain this to everyone back home. How did it all come to this? I think I'll consider my money that I spent to buy my plan with PM as a Donation to Canada's telcos, so they can improve their service. I'll just get on with life and buy another provider, when I get my credit card in 2 weeks.

How Do I cancel the subscription ? I cant even access the account due to 2FA being sent to phone number I don't have ?

That’s the problem, it won’t let me login into account. It’s wants to use both 2FA before it lets me in, and of course, I cannot complete the 2FA based on phone number. After I complete the email one, it says you have an active service or something and we will send you a text on the mobile number. There’s no skipping that screen.

if you've deleted esim...log in to your PM account on your cell and buy a new one...cost will end up being free.
ed...trouble with 2FA ? You can opt to have the code sent to your email rather than your phone.

I already have an active plan now and a phone number because I chose one and eSIM was activated automatically on the other phone that had the app, before we deleted it. They should be able to push e-sim through network after I give them my IMEI

we coulda provided some helpful info if you'da come here before running in probs. I'd suggest you get a pre-paid debit card at Walmart, Canada Post or other outlet. Then, order a Public Mobile sim from Amazaon with 2 day delivery for about $5 and free shipping if you have an account. Then when you have sim and pre-paid debit, you download the app to your cellphone and activate your new PM account. Simple !!
