Hi,

I will be moving from Montreal to Toronto. Do I need to change my telephone number? The plan stays the same? There will be roaming fee?

Thank you

Lory

No but your Toronto contacts will have to call you LD. And not everyone has Canada Wide calling.

The plan stays the same?

Yes and price too....but if you change number you will pay Ontario taxes.

There will be roaming fee?

No.

Thank you

@lory   As long as you have Canada wide calling plan and not an old provincial calls only, then it makes no difference except perhaps for anyone calling you as mentioned earlier.   Yes, your plan will stay the same.

PM is prepaid so you never have roaming or overage here as you will only get to use the service that you have already paid for.

If your Plan is Canada wide, there will be no extra charge if you use your Montreal number anywhere.

You can change your number 4x per 30 days. If Toronto is to be your permanent location you could consider changing number to 647 or GTA area code not to confuse people when you call them.

You cannot keep the same number though.

@lory Hi you don’t need to change anything if you want to keep your Montreal number no extra changes will be incurred by you

If you want you can change your number to a Toronto number...otherwise there's no roaming charges. Perhaps people calling you might have a toll, but not you.
