@amjadjadal does the Rewards Calculator found at the bottom of this 'Introducing Public Points Rewards' Announcement help? Open it up in excel and try entering some stuff to see if it clarifies things.

It is only on purchases so basically any renewals or add ons. Instead of getting 5% back on points like all the already existing new reward ppl or the 2 bonus for autopay that the old reward ppl you get much more even for a modestly priced plan.
With that said don't forget you only get the points on what you actually pay so for instance if you get a $40 plan, but you get referred by someone. Well you will get a $10 bill credit plus the 5 credit for the next 5 months for the refer a friend promo, so basically you will already have $15 in your account so your first renewal will really only be charging you 25 so instead of 6 reward points you would be getting 3.75 reward points. the next month you would still have the 5 RAF credit so would be paying 35, so 5.25 points and so in. If at any point you use your points to redeem 15 Bill credit etc you would have to take that into account too.
Still a good promo for sure and for that year you would be kicking both the old rewards and the existing new rewards ppl's a55es

Points program customers earn 5% back in points. For the next 12 months you will earn an additional 10% back in points. For every $10 spent you will earn 0.5 points + 1.0 points = 1.5 points.

@amjadjadal the 3x points is for new PM Subscribers only, not for existing customers
On the new Rewards , people early 5% cash back in Public Points. So, a $50 plan would earn 2.5 Points. With the 3x Points event, they will earn 7.5 points instead. Yes, the 3x points will be for 12 months only
