My daughter is currently using the $15 plan, and I would like to know that if she can change to the boxing week plan which is $29/30G. I noticed that it is for new activation, but since we are the loyal customer of public mobile and hope this plan would apply to us.

@spunz8 Curious are the plans you have now cost more then this plan ? If you been here long time and inns rewards i wouldn’t switch if I were you Better plans come along and you get to keep those rewards . But if on points system I don’t see much of a loss , porting is pretty easy these days just leave PM SIM card in phone and start port request with new provider . And reply YES to PM sim text to confirm the port . And port back in on PM with new accounts and different emails then before . But I agree be best to just offer these oaks to all no strings attached

I just went through 3 customer service agents that said no. This is even as I have 5 accounts here! They value new customers more than they do loyal customers. NICE!!! What marketing person thought up this gem!! Piss off your current loyal customer to maybe get a new customer. Marketing 101 is keep your base. I guess they missed that course!!.
This should not only be shocking to existing customers but new customers beware as once here they’re not interested in keeping you!
Now got to figure out how to port out 5 numbers which I’m reading it’s a nightmare!!
Thinking I’m gonna have to get the CRTC involved so I don’t have any glitches.

Most plans are for new customers. However, if you like one of those plans and you are willing to upgrade, not downgrade, you can reach out to a CS Agent and nicely request to be "upgraded" to this plan. They will not downgrade. Also note, if they do say yes, you WILL lose anything you've paid for this cycle and the new plan/cycle will start right away. Please note, if she has been with PM a while, that means she'd be on the Legacy Rewards program. Do NOT change that over to the new points system. Stay on Legacy Rewards. They won't ask about it but just sharing with you something folks may not even question and just do it. 😎

I can personally confirm I upgraded to a plan that's for new customers only. Just be nice to them.
I upgraded from the $25 5GB 3G plan to the $29 30GB 4G plan.

The plan is for new activations only.
But you can check your luck with PM agent. please submit a ticket with CS Agent here:

Remember, that plan supposed to be for new activation, so agent has the right to decline your request, although some reported they got it.
