Will switching plan void my current 50% promo?

I signed up my first PM number via a 50% off code 3 weeks ago and my current plan is a $35 4G/50GB plan. There’s now a $36 5G plan which has 5G speed and 250 international minutes.

If I switch my plan now, will my 50% off (for 3 months) be gone?

50% promo will likely go away as soon as you switch plans.

What you see available on the general website may actually not be available to you as an existing customer.  Check your self service account and try to change plans.  See which plans are available to you specifically.  I would not be surprised that the new plan is not available to you.

Most likely Yes.

You would have to determine what is the most important to you: data, international minutes (limited countries), 4/5G...
Mind you, people complain regarding 5G speed and I personally would not go for it. But your needs might be different (movies, youtube, etc.).

but if your willing to lose the 3rd month free to change plans I would wait to see what comes along end of the month for Black Friday sales . There’s bound to be better offers then . And when you do change plans always use the change plan on renewal option and not immediately or you lose money on your current cycle PM is pre paid and no refunds / pro rating
