Will old SIM card work with 5G?

I have an unused Public Mobile SIM card from 2016 that I got during the fall 2016 $120/12GB/90days promo. If I were to use it to sign up for one of the new 5G plans, will it be compatible with 5G?

I have an iPhone X and 14 Pro. I will swap the SIM into each phone and do a speed test.

There are no expiry date on the SIM but 5G is dependant on the make & model of your phone and is it 5G compatible.

@geeloo  YES absolutely, just change plan for next renewal and your good to go !

@geeloo  Yes it should be.  I think the SIM just gets you on their network and it's more that your phone has to support 5G.

@geeloo   yes, the same sim card will work on 5G network.  No upgrad, no new sim card needed
