Will I need to purchase additional roaming coverage?

My current phone plan has

"data within Canada, the US and Mexico at 5G speed."

"Unlimited Canada, UE and mexico wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging". 

I have never previously had a phone plan I didn't have to pay additional fees to go on a short trip to the US, but my understanding, and a reason I got this plan is that I will NOT need to purchase any additional roaming add-ons. Is this correct? Will I still need to turn on data roaming etc? 

Just want to make sure I don't accidentally get charged a ton for international rates and am all good to go for my trip to the States next month.

Great news! This is prepaid service. You pay for what YOU want. You wanted a Canada US Mexico plan, that is exactly what you got. There are no other hidden fees. I myself recently had a Canada US plan and let me tell you this. I went down to the US twice a month for a long time and never paid a penny more. I made so many calls and texted a ton! Plus I used my data down there and used FaceTime A LOT!!!  Never a penny more. I only got rid of it cause my Telus plan has the same thing. Didn't really need two Canada US plans.  Enjoy the trip there. Don't spend too much money shopping!! lol

with that plan, you can talk / text and use data while in Canada US and Mexico without any add-on required.

added...turn Roaming Data ON and leave it on. Never any overages with pre-paid Public Mobile. You do need a cellphone with VoLTE enabled in order to talk in US as they no longer have 3g network.
