It seems the voucher code was locked from our system after 12 attempts. The vouchers should work after a 24 hour hold. Please let us know if you continue to experience problems with entering your purchased voucher.

Thanks for replying. There have been far too many problems with retailers that sell immediately valid pm vouchers not being accepted in the past 10 days.

Have you heard back from customer support?
Petro Canada pm vouchers should be immediately valid upon purchase. I suspect there is an issue with pm's payment system accepting vouchers but there has been no acknowledgement of this possibility by @J_PM . Your only alternative at this point is to have customer support add it for you. I would ask for a partial credit for a free add on for this issue with the payment system denying you the ability to reactivate your service since this issue was brought to their attention at least 10 days ago.

Does the voucher mention any instructions or company names on it? Does it mention Public? Does it say to use 611 or self-serve?

If issues persist, submit a ticket to CSA for assistance with your voucher.

Telling us the retailer that you purchased it from will be very helpful. You only get two (2) attempts at adding a voucher before having to wait one full hour to try again. Make sure you are using the correct 12 digit PIN #.

I am assuming you just bought it this evening. Try again tomorrow and it should be good. Also be careful and make sure you entering the right # to redeem it.

Where did you buy the voucher ? Some vouchers don't get activated until several hours after they're sold. Wait for 24 hours to see if that works.
Next time...get the voucher at Shell Gas, Walmart or London Drug (out west).
Alternative is get on-line voucher from recharge.com or ding.com...but they do have a small user fee.
edit...
make certain you specify a Public Mobile payment voucher...not Telus or anyone else.

Depending on where you purchased the voucher it may take up to 24 hours to activate. How long has it been? Try calling 611 to add the voucher.
