Unsubscribed but was renewed anyway.

3 days before my renewal I unsubscribed from automatically renewing my plan. However my account renewed anyway using available funds. So what’s the point of the unsubscribe feature if it doesn’t work?

And yes I know that I could have put my plan on lost stolen but it was neither lost or stolen. I just wanted to set a different renewal date.

I had the same bad experience . Very misleading feature “ Subscribe -Unsubscribe “The developers can mess up at any time  in our accounts because  the way is developed their new  website doesn’t involve a confirmation in our email after Unsubscribe for honest proof .

Next time, if you have available funds, you can report your phone lost/stolen.  That will suspend your account at next payment date and leave your available funds alone.

You can't really do that since not all months are 30 days, so the renewal day will continually shift by a day or two depending on which month.

Since the plans are 30 days (or 90 in some cases) and not monthly the date moves and doesn't stay on one particular date each month.  You probably know that and perhaps just wanted to delay payment for a bit rather than literally "set" a date?

@Wayworn Unsubscribe means not use the credit card for payment.

if there is sufficient available fund, it will renew automatically.
