Purchased Canada-US plan and was assured I would have same coverage in US as in Canada. I am now in US. Can’t text, can’t get maps. Am driving in US!!!!!

I had the same problem. As result, I text customer service on public mobile every hour until worked.

@MColleen For future reference, in apps like Google Maps you can download the maps for use offline and then you don't need data to navigate. For the current problem do you have data roaming turned on, your phone set to LTE not 5G and are connecting to either AT&T or T-Mobile? If voice calls still don't work try to connect to 2G on T-Mobile. The US has shut down their 3G networks which can cause problems for some phones.

@MColleen Make sure you have data roaming turned on in phone settings and set phone to 4G/LTE and connect to T mobile or AT&T if you still have issue with voice set phone to 2G and only connect to T Mobile
