US-Roaming not working

Caseyyy16

I can't even submit a ticket because of a error on the SERVERS end. I'm honestly about to leave this service entirely as I have issues EVERY SINGLE TIME I need to use this service, that I need to buy an add-on or renew my phone plan, this is honestly getting insanely ridiculous, I paid $25 for roaming in the US and am currently in Portland Oregon. Also YES I already troubleshooted all options recommended like restarting my phone and checking to make sure roaming is on.

Do you have a VPN on your phone enabled? Disable it and see if it connects to T-Mobile network.

did you buy the correct add-on that you expected to buy as $25 only gets you 3Gb of data...no talk or text.

Is this a re-buy after a previous purchase? Is your phone set to manual networks? Automatic or searching for T-Mobile might do something. Is your phone set to 4G LTE? T-Mobile has no 3G network.

Adding - volte or 2G have no bearing on your data add-on.

For roaming, I remember Portland is a tricky city to connect to T-Mobile, but try this:

If the phone is not connecting to T-Mobile, change the Network Connection from Automatic to Manual and select T-Mobile

If your issue is with data, make sure your Roaming Mobile data is enabled and your have disabled your mobile data limter

If your issue is with voice, make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting.  And if it does not work, try to change the Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls goes through
Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi or if your roaming has data component and data  is working
