US Roaming did not work in Alaska

Hi,

My wife and I recently signed up for US Roaming packs for our trip to Alaska, and the coverage map showed it should work in and around Anchorage, but my wife and I never got any signal. Can we get a refund for this service we couldn't use?

Thanks, good to know for future response.

Just like the TextNow SIM, they were on the AT&T and now on T-Mobile network. The older SIM will work on the AT&T network but I tossed it away. Just T-Mobile now for free texting and calling without WiFi in the US.

@BKNS27- When AT&T was a roaming partner then PM worked in Alaska. Coverage was limited due to terrain and population but it worked.

I agree, a footnote should be added if it's a known issue.

PM never worked in Alaska…No T-Mobile towers there. Only AT&T an CGI towers.

Definitely contact a CS_Agent for a refund.

PM should put a footnote that US Roaming is not available in Alaska.

@mseth  This is a well known issue that US roaming will not work in Alaska unfortunately . Please contact support to inquire about compensation

@mseth roaming does not work in Alaska as TMobile does not have its own network there

Yes, you can message support for a refund.  Message them here

it's known that the roaming add-on is useless in Alaska. Ask for a credit to your account...
