Does anyone know if PM will (or is planning to) introduce roaming in other countries other than the USA?

Most of the budget brands offered by the large telcos don't offer roaming to push you into their premium brands like Telus and bell. But chatr offers roaming

Your guess is as good as ours. Best to purchase a local SIM or eSIM from that country or use WhatsApp or TextNow through wifi for free calling and texting.

hi @SliJi1 we are just customers so we don't know what PM's plan is. But being with PM for years, I would guess likely No. If you need data when travel, use travel esim or local data over there
