Hi, I need to go back to my hometown for the next 4 months, what should I do with my plan? Can I cancel it directly, will this close my account? Thanks!

wanna keep it simple ? Just downgrade to cheapest plan ($15), make sure you have a valid credit card set to Subscribed (Autopay), then forget about it. You plan will keep renewing every 30 days as usual and when you get back, you can upgrade to different plan if you desire. Total cost is only $60 plus tax and you won't have to worry about dates...enjoy your travel !

Hello @Yolandaaaaaaaaa
I guess it really depends on what plan you have and what's available now or available in 4 months from now. If you've got a really good plan, then may you'd want to keep it if it suites your needs for when you get back. What you can do is purchase a voucher, put enough on your account to keep it active for one month and remove your auto payment for the credit card payment. As long as you're home before 89 days after that, you should be able to continue the account. It's all about timing. Worse case, remove your credit card and purchase a voucher that can pay for 2 months. Then your account is on hold for 89 days after that. That would give you enough time to start back up again with the same plan.

Do you want to keep the phone number? If you have no desire to keep the phone number, you can skip the steps provided by softech to keep the account open and simply stop paying.

@Yolandaaaaaaaaa if you want to keep your number, don't cancel the account. You can keep alive the account. Since you are going for 4 months, there is a little bit of work
PM only allows the account to be suspended for 90 days or your account will be permanently closed, and you will loss the number.
So, your option is temporarily suspending the account and reactivate for 30 days before the 90 days deadline.
Here is what you can do (assuming your Available fund = $0)
