I dropped my phone at work and it was destroyed, I purchased a new device and public mobile sim card. I can login to the public mobile app but without 2fa on the old phone I'm completely stuck.

I do not have the old device, it was turned to paste by mining equipment

Hello @Kwright

There's a very good chance that your SIM card is still active and valid. Have you tried placing the old SIM card into the phone and rebooted? Also, not sure what new phone you got but you may wish to confirm it's a phone that works on the Public Mobile network. Unless the SIM card was damaged, there is no need to get a new one.

To confirm if your phone will work with Public Mobile, please see this link. At the bottom of the page, you can insert your IMEI number and the system will advise you if it will work with Public Mobile.

If your SIM card was damaged and you need to use the new one and since you can't log in, contact a CS Agent this way.

Theres no option to redirect 2fa for sim change only on login

Redirect 2FA to email.
Get new SIM and transfer number from old to new one.
If you have physical SIM just pull it out and plug it in into new phone.
If you have eSIM order one from PM (should be free) and transfer number.
