I need help transferring my phone number to a new device. I had to order a Physical Sim for my iPhone XR (which is e-Sim compatable) BUT for some reason e-Sim could not be downloaded as per CS Agent. Now I have a NEWER iPhone that I want the number transferred to. Please advise if I can do this and the steps I need to take. Thank you for all Members ongoing support … Appreciated @links to members

@Arby1 , if you want to use your current Public Mobile accounts phone number & SIM Card in your new phone & port your Telus phone number to use on your old phone you will need to sign up for a new account with Public Mobile using a new SIM Card & different email address for the Telus phone number that you want to port to your old phone. You can’t have 2 phone number on 1 account.
If you use @slusagm suggestion you will lose your current phone number that you have with Public Mobile on your new phone!

just login My Account, Profile, Transfer phone number. There you can put the landline phone number there and start the porting request
but remember, porting from landline takes couple days, as many as 7 days

Can I just switch physical Sim to my new device?

hi @Arby1
you just need to buy and install the esim via the app
download Public Mobile app on the new phone, login and go to Account page, Puchase sim card and choose esim

Just order a SIM from Amazon for $5 with fast shipping. Or pick a SIM from Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik for $10.
Then download the PM app on the new iPhone then login to your accpunt and go to the Account tab>Change Your SIM Card and enter the new SIM card S/N.
The North American iPhone XR does have eSIM (there will be Add eSIM in the iPhone settings)but the global iPhone XR have dual SIM.
