Number Porting from Fido

I’m transferring my number from Fido to Public Mobile using an eSIM. I never received the SMS validation request from Fido to reply ‘YES,’ so I’m worried my port might be stuck. On my iPhone, I currently see two signal bars (Fido and Public Mobile), and the ‘Transfer number’ option in the support menu is grayed out. How can I confirm whether my port request is still in progress, and what should I do if the validation SMS never arrived

Yes. I did leave the physical sim for Fido in.

did you leave the Fido sim card in the phone (or keep the Fido esim enabled)?  you might want to disable the PM esim for now (do not delete it, just disabel) and enable Fido's and see if you receive the text

but it might have well passed the 90 mins limit.   There is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update.  I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox.  Please check and call them
