Hey trying to help my parents out. We have one main question. Right now they share a bell mobility account for both their cell phones. They both want to switch to PM at separate times (with keeping their old numbers) but is that possible if they are on the same bell account?
I'm mostly confused because it says on the PM help section that only the authorized account holder can tranfer a phone number but only one of my parents gets a phone bill but there is just 2 phone numbers on it. Does that mean only a PM authorized account holder? Or is it talking about the old provider that they are switching from.

@JD2255 Yes it is possible, I ported out my number from a previous provider to Public Mobile when I was a second line. If their account is in one name only it might be best to port the secondary line first. Make sure to make each account separate with Public Mobile though, it would cause problems if you tried to put two lines in one account.

hi @JD2255
you can easily port out. All they need to do is to reply Yest to the porting authorization text from Bell , the process is that easy
so, download PM app, follow the step. After payment step, it is the porting step. Enter the phone number and Bell Account number. Later, Bell will send the text and they just need to reply Yes

You will probably need to contact bell and ask them . But I would think that you should be able to port 1 number out depending on the plan they have

@JD2255 you should be able to port them out one at at time and in fact, make sure that each number is being setup with it's own account using a unique email address, with Public Mobile you cannot use the same email for multiple lines.
