Went through eSim process and everything seemed fine. Received a message that eSim was not activating. Tried again with QR code a few times and did not work. Can I just eplace eSim with a physical SIM card?

@Chair4trees you should go into your phone's cellular settings and if you see eSIM setup there then you should remove it to avoid any issues. If you wanted to contact a customer support agent they may be able to get the eSIM working. If you want to try contacting them... you will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)
Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:

(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)

hi @Chair4trees
after you got the physical sim, you need to ask support to update the sim card number for you and that would override the esim
but before doing so, can you check if you see a Public Mobile esim in the Sim Manager screen? or in the Settings->Cellular screen on iPhone

Thank you. So when I purchase and install the new SIM card does it "overide" the eSim (that ain't woking anyway)?

@Chair4trees You can yes and I would only use physical sim anyways easier to switch devices on the fly , pick one up from Telus / /koodo store or order from Amazon and ask support to sim swap it for you . If you were already activated and existing customer you could do this in you’re own in the account
Find SIM card Find a store near to you | Public Mobile
Amazon

@Chair4trees, yes you can get a physical SIM card from Amazon for $5 and if you have a Prime account you will have free shipping and it should arrive within a day or 2. You can also purchase from TELUSE/Koodo or a Mobile Klinik store for $10 and avoid waiting
