Hi all,
I am on $40 15GB plan joined around Halloween. Can I plan switch to the black friday promotion $35 20GB?
I can go to the change plan and put in the promo code, but will the system grant me the $20 discount from $55?

@darlicious Good to know and hopefully PM hasn't changed how they apply the discount since your past experience with these offers.

That concerned me at first too....but then I remembered that $$ discounts would get applied upon renewal before payment is taken. Like the $10 off/6 months promotion. After activation the 2nd of the 6 month promotion applied automatically upon renewal. (See below)

@darlicious My only concern with scheduling this plan change for anyone interested, is that the upcoming payment doesn't reflect the $20 discount.
@devilj2012 might be something to keep in mind unless J_PM actually confirms before long that this promo is indeed available to all. If you decide to go ahead and schedule the change, make sure to take a screenshot of the page showing the promo code being accepted.

@devilj2012 Actually, you might be in luck as I just experimented with scheduling a plan change to $55 plan (after reading a post by @darlicious ) and then adding the promo code 20OFFMONTHLY in the promo box and it accepted the code.
While I don't intend to proceed to the final step as I don't really want to pay another $20+tax, nor need that much extra data, you can certainly schedule the plan if you're interested and, perhaps, update your thread if you actually do receive the promo price at renewal?
edit: However, I do agree with @JK8's point that the $40 plan you're on currently is much better in the long run since the price won't change after 15 months.

@devilj2012 You can't do it, because this promotion is only for new costumer.

@devilj2012 sorry, only for new activation 😞

That is for new customers only.
Edit: You are much better off with your current plan as the other plan is only good for 15 months.

@devilj2012 You can't switch to that plan for that promotion because it's for only new activations.
If by chance the system does accept the promotion code, you most likely will not get that $20 credit. Sorry.
