Somewhere in the process of transferring my number from Rogers, the number associated with my eSIM had two digits of the exchange reversed, from xxx-493-xxxx to xxx-943-xxxx. I believe Rogers transferred the number as I received the text and responded to it, and my Rogers account now shows cancelled. When I call the number that shows up for my eSIM , some unknown person answers. I can make calls from the phone, and the caller id shows the fat-fingered number. If I call my old Rogers number I receive an “out of service” message. I have followed all the help, including deleting and redownloading and reactivating. The “fat fingered” number is associated with the replaced and reactivated eSIM.
How can I fix this mess? Who is answering the 943 number? I would think that this, at a minimum, a security problem as I can make a call using someone else’s number. How do I transfer my old number into my subscription?
I can be reached at xxx-477-xxxx.
thanks for your help…

There would have been a text sent to the wrong number confirming to port over to PM. Most like the owner of that number would ignore or delete the text.
I would suggest you contact Roger and explain your issue and if your number was ported to PM then contact a CS_Agent to straighten this out and resend the confirmation text.
