Many people are complaining about Public Mobiles ridiculously slow website. I have had this issue for a long time now, Public Mobile is owned ny Telus who also owns Koodo. This is my understanding. I think this is a deliberate attempt to frustrate you to the point of switching to one of their more expensive companies. I have been a long standing Public Mobile and Koodos customer and if this web site problem is noty addressed I will be switching to anything that isn't Telus related. Retire the 3600 Baud dial up Modem running this web site and smarten up already.
Solved! Go to Solution.

It's very slow to me as well, the website and the app. I can't believe such a simple issue can't get resolved.

I was probably a little harsh but it is this way every time I use the web site. They do not appear to have made it a priority to address the problem. Like they say . You get what you pay for! Thanks for the insight,

The very slow Self Serve site issue is back. I was seeing issues with parts of the site taking 10 minutes to load and "internal server error messages". Regardless, none of this explains the sometimes 100% CPU load that the Self Serve site sometimes causes.

I tend to disagree.
Yesterday Community was slow but know speed is as expected.
As for PM account, it was always a little bit slow to populate all parts of page but it does not bother me at all.

I don’t have any speed issues.

Well I hope you are correct. I have tried multiple computers - not much an Apps. I do not log into the site often but when I do it is always the same - won't even load up all my information although oddly enough this forum is working. I was thinking of upgrading my service but can't even get that option to load - Three dots and times out.

I agree that the website is slow…waiting for the 4 dot wave to complete the download of your account.
The app is not much faster.
Patience I guess and I hope that some help from the Beta testing will help.

HI @RIB
i don't agree that theory that Telus purposely make PM customers upset and then upsell to Koodo or Telus. Usually in such chase, people would avoid Telus family altogether (as you are planning to avoid Telus family too)
For your problem, try using the app, it seems loading faster. Or try different browsers
